Is there anything Kate Moss can’t do? Seems like everything this supermodel turned fashion designer sets her mind on, she excels. July 2010 marked the month when Longchamp launched their new bag collection, designed by no other than Kate Moss. This is the second collection that Kate Moss has designed for the luxury brand, and just as the previous one, this collection looks really great with a multitude of colors and textures. Really gorgeous designs.
I found this video shot by Longchamp for their joint venture. Take a look:
I’ve long been a fan of Longchamp, for no other apparent reason, than for the fact that Longchamp bags look stylish and they never go out of fashion. They’re classics, and you can style-up an outfit with a Longchamp bag for pretty much any occasion. And Kate Moss’ new collection is no exception. The collection looks really cool and most importantly, really practical.
In an interview Ms Moss gave to Vogue.com, she stressed: “They’re based on my favourite bags – so they’re tried and tested,” after which she pointed out “the perfect bag for Glastonbury.” So if you’re one for festivals, maybe a Longchamp bag is all you need.
Of course, when I first heard about Kate Moss designing for Longchamp again, I wanted to take a look at the entire collection to see how she pulled it off. And I actually think she managed to do a pretty good job at creating a great new line for the brand. I wouldn’t mind having a few of these bags myself.
Take a look at the whole collection here and tell us what you think. Is the new collection as good as the previous one? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
