Apologies to you, my loyal followers, for my recent silence. My new life in Paris has kept me super occupied. Not only have I had my fare share of things that I have had to do to get my life started here, but I’ve also been busy scouting the streets of Paris in search of style and inspiration.
Let me start by saying that Paris really is a beautiful city. It has a certain je ne sais quoi about it. Not only is it one of the world’s fashion capitals, but when you walk along the streets of Paris, you feel a sense of romanticism and magic in the air unlike anywhere else. The architecture echoes a beauty that cannot really be compared to any other place. So you can’t be surprised to find that Parisians have a natural flair for style.
I can’t say that I would agree on every fashion choice the Parisians make, not at all, but I try to look for a certain modesty and simplicity, which I think are the real foundations of beauty and style. For some reason (don’t ask me why) my attention has lately been in accessories. Maybe it’s due to being pregnant that I feel more drawn to pieces, which are irrespective of my growing stomach, or maybe it’s just because my eye is for some reason geared towards accompanying items rather than main pieces. And as an avid spotter of uniqueness, I came across this beautiful summer bag. Not only am in love with the amazing print, but I just love the bohoness of it.
