I wanted to share with you my favourite fashion illustrator. I just find her work incredibly beautiful and interesting and I can’t help but feel inspired. By looking at her artwork my mind automatically starts to think: Where does she find her inspiration? Where does it all come from?
With her success she has managed to work with some of the biggest names in fashion, not only fashion designers and major brands but huge fashion retailers as well.
For those not so familiar with this illustrator, Laura Laine is a Helsinki based illustrator. She studied fashion design at University of Art and Design Helsinki, and during her studies she focused on fashion illustration. After completing her studies she has been working full-time as a freelance illustrator and is also teaching fashion illustration at the university where she gained her education.
Her recent clients include Vogue Nippon, GAP, Elle, Zara, Telegraph, Rad Hourani, The New York Times T magazine, Tommy Hilfiger, Muse magazine, The Guardian and Daniel Palillo. She has also exhibited her works in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
