Hi, I’m Emma.

I’m a freelance writer and translator who has recently set up shop in Paris. After 5 amazing years in sunny Barcelona, I felt it was time for a change. Time to experience something new. And having always had a tickle for France, what better place to live and work than the beautiful Paris, la ville des lumières et de l’amour (city of lights and love). I feel really passionate about writing, particularly when it comes to topics that are close to my heart, such as great style and stunning designs.

StyleCatcher came from the idea of wanting to capture and immortalize many of today’s styles and looks in different corners of the world. My aim is to capture a part of that beauty from my own surroundings. While my blog started out mainly as a Fashion blog, it has gradually evolved to an area that interests me even more: Style and design. Whether it’s with apparel, decor or architecture, I always keep an eye out for new inspiration, and I want to capture some of that magic and store it for times to come.

And if there’s something I’ve learnt over the years, it’s that, while fashion is here one day and gone the next, style is eternal. All you need to do is open yourself to the beauty that is around you.
